Grzegorz Klatka, a reporter, In photographer born in 1976 in Katowice. Graduate of Institut Tvůrčí Fotografie in Opava, Czech Republic. Between 1998-2003 photoreporter for weekly magazine ‘Polityka’.
Author of many photo reports, mostly from Poland, but also from Czech Republic, Lithuania, Russia, Israel, Palestine, Portugal, Pakistan, India and USA. Above that he had his photo reports published in Gazeta Wybrocza’s ‘Magazyn’, Rzeczpospolita’s magazine, weekly magazines: Ozon, Viva, Sontag Zeitung (Switzerland), Reflex (Czech Republic), Courier Internationale (France), in monthly magazine Zwierciadło. In 2005-06 a collaborator for magazine Forbes, 2007-08 for daily newspaper Pražský deník in Prague. Since April 2009 co-founder of a new magazine “Prime” issued quarterly.
Laureate of a few photographic awards, including: 1st, 2nd and 3rd award in Polska Fotografia Prasowa contests (1998, 1999), 2nd award in Humanity Photo Awards (Bejin, China 2007), a double distinction in Gorzowskie Konfrontacje Fotograficzne (1998, 2004). Winner of the Grand Prix in Płockie Bienale Plakatu (2007). He took a part in several individual and tens of collective photography exhibitions in Europe and Asia. One of the participants of collective documentary projects, such as: polish-german project „Przez rzekę – Uber den Fluss”.
